Residents of North Kensington, in London, could soon be benefiting form a new leisure centre and academy.
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has received the planning application and employed London-based architects Studio E to draw up proposals on its behalf.
The leisure centre will feature a 120-station fitness suite with the option to partition the space for different user groups. A 25m, eight-lane swimming pool with seating for 200 spectators will also be built.
The council is expected to make a decision on the planning application in September this year, with a scheduled opening time in September 2014.
